HOW EVAPORATIVE COOLING WORKS?
Evaporative air conditioning uses evaporation to cool the air. In an evaporative cooling system a pump circulates water from the reservoir on to a cooling pad, which in turn becomes very wet. A fan will then draw air from outside the unit through the moistened pad. As it passes through the pad the air is cooled by evaporation. Evaporative coolings effectiveness relies on ensuring that each of the cooling pads are completely saturated at all times during operation and that the systems fan & motor are sized and designed to deliver the appropriate airflow throughout the home

WHAT CONDITIONS SUIT EVAP COOLING?
As the cooling effect of evaporative systems relies on evaporating moisture from the wet filter pad and therefore evaporative cooling will work best in hot, dry conditions, and aren’t suited to humid conditions.
